moods on iPhone

1. Add moods to your Home Screen

  1. Open this page in Safari and connect your phone (QR code from moods → Profile → Connect phone).
  2. Share icon → Add to Home Screen.

2. From Instagram, YouTube and others

In the app, tap Share → Copy Link, then open moods and tap “Paste link from clipboard”. Photos from your library can be picked directly in moods.

3. From Safari with one tap

Create a “To moods” bookmark: bookmark any page, then Edit Bookmark, name it “To moods” and paste this as the address:

Then on any page: Bookmarks → “To moods”. The page opens in moods, prefilled.

4. Optional: shortcut in the Share menu

Safari cannot add web apps to the Share menu, but a “To moods” shortcut can. If someone on the team sends you the shortcut as an iCloud link: open it, tap “Add Shortcut” and paste your key on first run.

Build the shortcut yourself (once, about 3 minutes)

Your values to copy:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app → + → name it To moods.
  2. Tap the i at the top → turn on Show in Share Sheet. Types: URLs, Safari web pages, Text, Images, Media.
  3. Action Choose from List: items team and private (prompt “Pool”).
  4. Action If “Shortcut Input” has any value of type Image/Media:
Get Contents of URL → URL = Address, Method POST, Header Authorization = Bearer <key>, Request Body Form: field file (File) = Shortcut Input, field meta (Text) = {"pool":"[Chosen Item]","method":"mobile","capture":"photo"}.
  5. Otherwise: Get URLs from Shortcut Input → Get Contents of URL → URL = Address ?wait=1, Method POST, same header, Request Body JSON: url = URLs, pool = Chosen Item, mode = save, method = mobile.
  6. At the end, Show Notification: “Saved to moods”.
  7. Test it: open a page in Safari → Share → To moods.

Tip for the team: one person builds the shortcut, replaces the key with an Ask for Input action (or an import question) and shares it as an iCloud link.
